Karat® by Lollicup™ is fortunate to be one of the essential businesses that continue to provide important products to other companies, frontline workers, and anyone else coping with this coronavirus pandemic. As our team works to serve others, Karat® by Lollicup™ is working to support our team. We are committed to always caring for our employees, so we have taken the following steps to ensure everyone’s safety.

Protective Gear

Karat® by Lollicup™ is providing every employee with 3-ply face masks and nitrile gloves to help reduce exposure. Employees are asked to wear these daily during their work hours.

We also have our custodial staff wiping down high-touch surfaces throughout the day and keeping sanitizer stations filled.

Social Distancing

Karat® by Lollicup™ has enacted a rotating work schedule to follow social distancing protocols and reduce the number of employees in the office at one time. As outlined in the “Stay At Home” Order, all trade shows, seminars, and large in-person meetings have been cancelled. Karat® by Lollicup has also temporarily closed the will-call pick up service for online orders, as an additional step to protect both employees and customers.

Temperature Checks

Since a fever is the most telling symptom of the novel coronavirus, Karat® by Lollicup™ is taking extra precautions by periodically checking employee’s temperature using a non-contact thermometer when they are working onsite. Anyone with a high temperature will be required to rest at home until they are well.

Karat® by Lollicup™ will continue to take the necessary precautions to protect the health and safety of our employees and customers so the products you depend on don’t stop. Together we will get through this!
